What Is the Payment Transactions Dashboard?

The Payment Transactions Dashboard gives specific information on each payment that is attempted on your platform

The Payment Transactions Dashboard is a comprehensive tool designed for efficiently managing payment transactions. It allows you to quickly view detailed information regarding the status of each payment recorded in the system. Additionally, the dashboard offers functionalities such as modifying invoices, creating payment plans, applying discount credits, removing programs, or adding specific add-ons.

 

Accessing the Dashboard:

  1. To access your dashboard, log in to the Playbook Back End through this link: mywebsite.playbookapi.com/control_panel
  2. From the top navigation bar, navigate to:
    Reporting > Financial > Payment Transactions

Dashboard Overview:

You’ll be presented with a table displaying the following details for each transaction:

  1. Transaction Amount
  2. Invoice Status
  3. Transaction Status
  4. Program Payment Applied To
  5. User Name

Bulk Actions:

Bulk actions or bulk editing efficiently applies the same action to multiple selections at once, eliminating the need for repetitive tasks.image_2024-10-04_045246206

  1. Export All: will download all details that you have in the table in a csv format. Prompting a dialog box that has 3 options: Save, Don't Save, and Cancel.

  2. Custom Export Selected: After selecting any transaction in the table, you can use Custom Export Selected to export any transaction while customizing any details that you want to include.

  3. Email All Pages: gives you access to "Send Bulk Email" page that you can send a custom Email to all users that has their email address linked to their account transactions.

  4. Email Selected: similar with the Email All Pages that opens the "Send Bulk Email" page, this Action applies only to selected transactions.
  5. Bulk SMS: gives you access to "Send Bulk SMS" page that you can send a custom SMS to selected users that has their phone numbers linked to their account transactions.

Filters:

  1. Left-hand filters let you refine results by categories like specific programs, payment methods, and price ranges. Each category offers multiple subcategories, allowing you to efficiently narrow down the type of transactions you're looking for. Selecting a category or subcategory helps streamline your search, as shown below.
  2. Top filters let you search by user name or email, and adjust the date range to narrow down your report

    1. Search - Allows you to display transactions by entering the user's name or email
    2. Date Range - You can either select a custom time range by inputting the start and end dates manually, or choose from preset options using the date range dropdown
    3. Apply - Once you've set your desired filters, click this button to apply them

Customization:

The Modify Columns button allows you to customize the table, giving you full control over which columns and data are displayed. Below the table, you'll find a list of all available columns you can choose from
