How Do I Create Waivers?

Waivers are necessary for any sports/recreational organization. This article shows you how to add waivers to specific programs as well as create Universal Waivers

  1. To create a waiver, first go to the site settings by clicking the gear icon on the top right of the back-end page (mywebsite.playbookapi.com/control_panel/site_settings)
  2. From the left, click on Registration Settings then click Waivers
  3. From here, you can see the current list of universal waivers. You can click the Add New Waiver on the top right to get started with your new Universal Waiver
  4. A pop-up window will open where you can name your waiver, give it a description, and a space to add the waiver in a .pdf format
  5. Once you are ready to upload the waiver, press Save and this waiver will now be available to use in any future registrations you create

To add waivers to specific programs, head over to the Activity Card you are look to add the waiver to


    1. Within the Settings tab (which is the default tab any card should load on), head over to the Waivers tab
    2. You will be able to select any waiver you have created from the dropdown box, just be sure to click the orange Add (New Waiver/To Registration), and then click the separate Save button to ensure the waivers are added to the registration flow
