Passes and Pass Types

Passes can be used to pay for any class (program package or rental) in your system. Passes can be made available for purchases in a package, or be included in membership plans.

There are three types of Pass Types:

Session: This pass allows registration for one session within selected categories or class packages

$1: This pass is worth $1 and can be applied to any program within the chosen categories or class packages

Duration: This pass is used for rentable sessions of specific durations within the selected categories or class packages

How to Create Pass Types:

1. Log in to the Playbook Back End of your website (mywebsite.playbookapi.com/control_panel)
2. From the top navigation bar, go to Programs, then select Pass Types
   
3. On the Pass Types page, click Create Pass Type, and then choose 'Create Pass Type' again from the dropdown
4. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the following details:
   1. Pass Name: Provide a unique name for the pass
   2. Type of Pass: Choose between Session, $1, or Duration
   3. For Duration Pass, specify the number of minutes the pass will cover
   4. Categories/Class Packages: Select the categories or class packages to which this pass will apply
   5. Pass Expiration: Toggle the Make Passes Expire option if you want the passes to have an expiration date
      
      
5. Once you've filled out the necessary details, save your changes
