How To Create Game Reminders

Add game reminders for your customers to RSVP on time and make sure they don't miss their games. Add Email and/or SMS reminders.

Game reminders are a great way to help customers plan and attend their upcoming games. You can create multiple reminders, both via Email and SMS. For SMS, it's essential that users’ cell phone numbers and carriers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc.) are up to date to ensure they receive the messages.

To create a game reminder, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Playbook Back End of your website (mywebsite.playbookapi.com/control_panel/site_settings)
2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of any page to access Site Settings
   
3. From the left-hand menu, select Customize Emails, then click on Event Reminders
4. Click the orange Create a new reminder button to begin setting up your reminder
5. Enter the relevant information:
   
   1. Title: This is the label or name of the reminder for you and other administrators. It will only be visible on the back end
   2. Type: Choose whether you want the reminder to be sent via Email, SMS, or both
   3. From Email: Specify the email address from which the reminder will be sent
   4. Reply To: Provide the email address where any replies will be forwarded
   5. Audience: Select the specific programs (Seasons, Packages, Clubs, Resources) you'd like to set up reminders for. Simply type in the name of the program
   6. When to Send: Choose the specific days and times the reminders will be sent. You can define a time range to determine which events will trigger reminders
6. Once all details are set, click Save
