How Do I Add Custom Content To Emails?

Within the Playbook suite, you can set up a wide variety of triggers that will automatically send out emails after a specific action is taken by a user (such as after a team registration or facility reservation)

To set up a custom email trigger, follow these steps:
  1. Log in to your Playbook Back End at: (mywebsite.playbookapi.com/control_panel), and click the gear icon in the top right corner to access Site Settings
  2. In the left-hand menu, select Customize Emails, then click Custom Email
  3. Choose the trigger for which you want to create an email from the list on the left
  4. On the right, fill in the relevant details:
    1. From: The email address that will send the notification
    2. Reply To: The email address where replies will be forwarded
    3. Subject: The subject line for the email
    4. Body: The message content of the email
  5. If you wish to add custom header and footer images, click on Advanced Custom Email Settings
  6. To preview your email, click Preview Custom Email to see how it will appear when sent
  7. Once you’re satisfied with all the settings, click Save Changes

Your custom email trigger is now set up!
