How Do I Add Custom Content To Emails?

Within the Playbook suite, you can set up a wide variety of triggers that will automatically send out emails after a specific action is taken by a user (such as after a team registration or facility reservation)

  1. To set up a custom email trigger, head over to the site settings by clicking the gear icon on the top right of the back-end page (mywebsite.playbookapi.com/control_panel)
  2. On the left, click on Customize Emails then click Custom Email
  3. Select the trigger you would like to create an email for on the left
  4. You can begin entering the relevant details in the boxes on the right
    1. From: The email address that will be used to send the reminder
    2. Reply to: The email that all replies will be forwarded to
    3. Subject line of the email
    4. The email body/message
    5. If you click on (Advanced) Custom Email Settings, you can add custom header and footer images
    6. You can also click Preview Custom Email to see how your email will look when sent out
  5. Once you are happy with all the details, click the Save Changes button
