How Does Invite By Email and Accepting Invites to Teams Work?

Learn how the rosters for leagues and tournaments are managed and what inviting does and what accepting the invitation does.

Roster management is entrusted to the team captain, who holds overall responsibility for the team. However, the platform provides tools to streamline the invitation process and ensure invitation acceptance.

Below is a quick overview of how to invite players to your team via email and how these invitations are displayed on the roster page:

  1. To invite players, navigate to your team’s Roster page and click Invite Players
  2. Once players are invited, their status will appear as Pending on the roster page (as shown in the first image above)
     

The Pending status does not affect a player’s ability to participate or make payments. The captain retains control over this aspect, as some players may participate without logging into the website.


Captains can also modify team settings, such as team size and team name, by clicking Edit Settings.

When a player accepts the invitation, they will be automatically logged in (if they have an account) and redirected to the payment page. A confirmation email will also be sent to confirm the invitation has been accepted.
