How Do I Create a Preset Payment Plan?

We understand that there will be times users cannot pay for a registration in full on the same day. You have the ability to create and customize preset payment plans that your users can choose from.

To set up a payment plan, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the Payment Plan Options tab, located under Settings for any program, season, or club card 
  2. Click on Create Preset Payment Plan.
  3. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the necessary information:
    1. First, specify the number of payments in the plan
    2. Choose between Interval or Custom Dates:
      • If you choose Interval, select from the following interval types: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly
      • If you choose Custom Dates, you can select specific dates from a calendar
  4. For payment plans within a Season Card, select the appropriate season signup type: Team, Free Agent, or Team Individual
  5. Make sure to toggle Is Active to enable the payment plan for use
  6. You can also enable Is Autocharge to automatically charge participants' payment methods
  7. Optionally, set an Upfront Payment amount, which registrants must pay to confirm their registration
  8. Clicking on Advanced Payment Plan Options will reveal additional settings:
    1. Toggle Require Pay Overdue to ensure any overdue payments are included in the next payment
    2. Use Before Payment Reminder to set the number of days before a payment is due to send a reminder email
    3. Use Missed Payment Reminder to send a reminder X days after a missed payment.
  9. Once you’ve finalized the details, click Save

Your payment plan is now ready to be used!
