How Do I Create a New Coupon Code?

Give your Users Special Discount Codes to use towards your Programs and Seasons.

To create a coupon code, log in to the Playbook Back End of your website (mywebsite.playbookapi.com/control_panel). Follow these steps:

1. From the top navigation bar, select Marketing > Discounts and Promotions > Coupon Codes
2. If you already have coupon codes, they will appear in a list. To create a new code, click Add New Coupon Code on the right-hand side
   
3. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the relevant details:
   1. Apply All: Enable this toggle if the coupon should be valid for any program in your system
   2. Active: This must be turned on for the coupon to function
   3. Allow Multiple Uses: Toggle this off if you want the coupon to be used only once
   4. Code: Enter the actual coupon code participants will use
   5. Coupon Type: Choose either a flat dollar amount or a percentage of the total program cost
      1. For Flat Amount, input the discount under Dollar Amount (e.g., enter 10.00 for a $10 discount)
      2. For Percentage, input the discount under Percent Amount
   6. Start Time: Set the date and time for the coupon to become active
   7. End Time (optional): Set an expiration date for the coupon code
4. You can also apply optional restrictions:
   1. Sports Required: Limit the coupon to certain sports
   2. Gender Required: Limit the coupon based on gender requirements for specific programs

Once you've entered all the necessary information, your coupon will be ready to use.
