How Do I Create Membership Discounts?

You can add exclusive discounts only available to users enrolled in memberships

  1. To create a Membership Discount, you will need to log in to the Playbook Back End of your website. (mywebsite.playbookapi.com/control_panel)
  2. From the top navigation bar select Marketing, then Discounts and Promotions, then Membership Discounts.
  3. Once the page has loaded, if you have other bulk discounts you will be able to see a list. To create a new bulk discount click ‘Add New Membership Discount’ on the right hand side
  4. A window will pop-up and allow you to enter the relevant information
     
    1. ‘Name’ of the membership discount
    2. ‘Category’ to select which category you want this discount to apply in
    3. ‘Minimum Price’ can be used if you want the bulk discount to only apply to orders over a certain amount
    4. ‘Maximum Price’ can be used if you want the bulk discount to only apply to orders under a certain amount
    5. ‘Is Active’ toggle which must be turned on for discounts to be applied
    6. You use the ‘Is Percentage’ toggle to choose between a percentage discount and dollar amount discount
    7. You can also choose to toggle on ‘Apply All’ to allow this membership discount to apply to all participants in your system
    8. Once you are happy with all the details, go ahead and press ‘Save’
  5. Now, to apply the membership discount to a specific membership package, go ahead to your chosen membership card page
    1. Under ‘Settings’ and in the ‘Main Info’ tab, you can scroll all the way down to see the ‘Membership Discounts’ dropdown tab
    2. Click on the tab to select the membership discount you would like to add
    3. Once you are done, press ‘Save'
