Creating Staff Roles
You can easily associate groups of permissions under a single staff role
- Log in to the Playbook Back End of your website. (mywebsite.playbookapi.com/control_panel).
- From the top navigation bar select Staff then Staff Roles
- On the Staff Roles page you’ll be able to see a list of the current roles already in the system
- Once you click Add New Staff Role, a pop-up window will appear where you can enter the details of the role
- You can enter the title in Name and also have the option of assigning the role to a specific sport
- If the Only use for permissions toggle is turned on, this staff role will not be rentable. If you plan on allowing members of this staff role to be rentable/available for bookings you should leave this toggled off
- You can also select specific Site Wide and Dashboard permissions to the particular staff role
- Site Wide Permissions include things such as creating, editing and deleting seasons, clubs, memberships etc.
- Dashboard Permissions include things such as viewing and deleting registrations, financials and user information
