How Do I Automate League Schedules?

You can easily create games for your season using our automated scheduler

How to Create a Schedule
  1. Select a Season To begin, navigate to the specific season card for which you'd like to create a schedule
  2. Choose Teams or Divisions From the dropdown, select either All Teams or a specific division you'd like to schedule. You can also choose individual teams if needed
  3. Set the Schedule Model Choose Round Robin Basic from the Schedule Model dropdown menu
  4. Game Details
    1. Input:
      1. Enter the total number of games each team will play during the season
      2. Specify how many games each team will play per week
      3. Set the standard game length (in minutes)
    2. Optional settings include:
      1. Back-to-back doubleheaders: Toggle this if you want teams to play consecutive games
      2. Add extra weeks at the end of the schedule to handle additional games
  5. Add Scheduling Preferences If any teams have specific day-of-the-week preferences for their matches, you can mark these under Scheduling Preferences. When everything looks good, click Next
  6. Select Game Locations Choose the location where the games will be played, and if applicable, select a sub-location as well
  7. Define Season Dates Enter the start and end dates of the season. Afterward, click Add Interval
  8. Set Game Times The intervals will define game times. Enter the start and end times for the games
    1. If you need additional timeslots, click Add Interval and input the other times
    2. Choose specific days of the week for the games or toggle All Days if games can be scheduled for any day
  9. Add Tentative Time Slots Once the parameters are set, click Add Tentative Time Slots
  10. Preview and Adjust Time Slots A preview of the created schedules will appear on the right under Select Time Slots For Scheduler
    1. To remove any fixture, click the trash can icon
    2. If there aren’t enough timeslots, you can Remove Overlapping Timeslots to adjust accordingly
    3. Ensure the Total number of timeslots recommended matches the number of timeslots available
  11. Finalize Time Slots After confirming the timeslots, click Add to Selected Timeslots and then All Divisions. You will see a final preview of the timeslots to be added. You can delete any remaining fixtures here if necessary
  12. Create and Publish the Schedule When satisfied, click Create Schedule. On the following page, click Publish Schedule to set the fixtures and have them appear on the calendar
