Configuring USA Field Hockey Membership Settings

00:03: Hockey membership validation within your site settings. It covers enabling

00:09: configuring program packages, and ensuring proper registration verification.

00:15: After logging into your Playbook API account, find the gear icon or site settings.

00:20: Click the icon to access your Site Settings.

00:33: From there, navigate to national governing bodies. You will see two available

00:37: options. Select USA Field Hockey. A pop-up window will appear.

00:42: Click Enable.

00:44: Once the integration is enabled, the USA Field Hockey Configuration Settings dropdown

00:49: will be displayed.

00:51: The first option is USA Field

00:53: Hockey Validation Enabled. When this setting is activated, USA Field

00:57: Hockey membership verification will be applied to programs across your site.

01:06: The second option is to require a valid USA Field

01:09: Hockey membership. When this setting is enabled, participants must possess a valid

01:14: USA Field Hockey membership to complete their registration.

01:23: You will find various membership options for the USA Field

01:26: Hockey membership.

01:28: Please note the default button.

01:32: For instance, if we activate the prospect membership, it will become the default

01:37: option for your USA Field

01:39: Hockey membership.

01:42: Please note that these settings will only apply to newly created programs and will

01:46: not affect existing ones.

01:49: For existing programs, you will need to add them manually.

01:54: Once you're finished, click Save Changes.

02:03: In the next step, I will provide you with an example.

02:05: If you wish to edit or add it to your program, navigate to your program packages,

02:10: select the desired program, and click on the view program card.

02:20: Once you are on your selected program, you can access your waitlist and restrictions.

02:30: In the bottom right corner of your waitlist restriction,

02:32: you will find your USA Field Hockey membership setup.

02:37: For instance, if you select national adult member, national U12 member, or U19 member,

02:43: once you have made your choice, click add and select.

02:50: Finally, remember to click save.

03:02: Once saved, it will automatically integrate into your registration process.

03:05: Allow me to present a sample for your registration process.

03:16: On the registration page, you will notice that your USA Field

03:20: Hockey membership verification is displayed.

03:22: This is mandatory as we have enabled this feature.

03:28: If the participant selects "yes," they are required to provide all their USA Field

03:33: Hockey information, including the USA Field Hockey ID, last name, and date of birth.

03:43: If any of the information entered is incorrect, an error message will appear

03:47: indicating that the USA Field Hockey membership could not be found. To verify the

03:52: membership,

03:53: the participant must enter the correct information and successfully validate their

03:57: membership before proceeding with registration.

04:01: Once the correct information has been submitted, the participant will receive a

04:05: confirmation message indicating that their USA Field

04:09: Hockey membership has been successfully validated.

04:13: If the participant selects No, they will receive an error message

04:16: indicating that a valid USA Field

04:19: Hockey membership is required.

04:21: The system will automatically display a link to the Sport80 registration website,

04:26: where participants can register for a USA

04:29: Field Hockey membership.

04:32: After completing their membership registration through Sport:80, they can return to the

04:36: program and continue the registration process.

04:45: Once completed, users can return to their program and continue with the registration

04:49: process. For the other program we have for seasons and clubs,

04:53: let me provide an example.

04:57: For Seasons, navigate to Seasons, select the season or league you wish to edit, and

05:02: click on View League Card.

05:09: In this section, you need to locate the optional information. Scroll down,

05:14: and at the bottom right, you will find your USA Field Hockey membership setup, which

05:19: follows the same process.

05:26: To access your clubs, navigate to the clubs section and click on View Club Card.

05:35: Once you enter your chosen club, you can access optional information.
